However haven't looked at possible cli for that yet to do things outside of using the native backup option from the nas that can integrate with various S3 compatible providers.There are various iDrive alternatives on the market, each with its own unique offerings. Still cheaper than aws or azure for their object storage options (not opting for the aws long term backups in Glacier as those are way too expensive in case a restore is needed in the TB range) at around 5$/TB/month. So for my nas for example, instead of looking into the unlimited backup option from Backblaze to backup specific data (to backup around 1TB of photo's on my pc), I chose the S3 compatible B2 (to backup the nas that keeps the photo's in sync with a sync app on the pc). As I doubt any of them unlimited backup options is sustainable in the long run (google seems to have shown this year there is a maximum on their service for an individual users?) and because I would be in it for the long run (not wanting or needing to extract backups to yet another cloud provider) and possible longer retentions, I rather choose to use $/GB/month offerings for object storage services, even if they turn out to be more expensive even if it is with the same cloud provider.
